Young Persons Award for Design & Innovation
On Friday 30th June the West Midlands final of the Young Engineers for Britain Competition was held at the Clarendon Suite, Birmingham. Two pupils form RGS Worcester had success.Sean Astbury was placed 2nd in the age 16 category and was awarded a cheque for £100. He entered a solar powered toy car he had designed and made as a GCSE project.
Ben Jones was placed 1st in the age 18 class and was awarded a cheque for £200 He entered his A2 level project designed to tension wire between fence posts.
