Emi, Katy, Rhiannon and Zoe before their English GCSE Exam

Rhiannon Evans, Emi Lambert, Zoe Thompson and Katy Venables will be the only female RGS Worcester pupils ever to take their final GCSE examinations at the school.
The four girls joined 104 Year 10 boys in September 2005, a year ahead of the school’s rolling co-educational programme. All recognised the high academic standards here and were prepared to be very much in a minority to benefit from the excellent teaching available at the school.
Next May 68 Year 11 girls, together with 94 boys, will sit GCSE examinations under the RGSAO banner.
