'Bringing parents together to support our children and our school'

At present the RGSAO parents committee consists of about 20 members who meet twice a term to plan and organize a variety of social events, review how we can support school functions, offer funding for school trips and run the School Second Hand Uniform Shop.

Last year the first RGSAO Ball took place with almost 400 parents from RGSAO, RGS The Grange and Springfield attending. From such well supported events we have been able to buy equipment for various school departments, support student travel bursaries and gap year projects and buy new benches for the school grounds.

This year we are planning events for our lower and middle school students and a Christmas Masterclass plus a school disco for the adults.

As some of our long standing committee members are leaving this year we are looking for new members to join our warm and friendly group and support these events.
