Solihull responded with powerful forward play but RGSAO tackled ferociously. Early in the second half Solihull broke through to level the scores at 5 all. RGSAO took the lead with a penalty from Bill Harling which was added to by a Liam Booth drop goal. Despite sustained pressure the RGSAO defense held out and won 5 - 11.

1st XV Report v KES Stratford
Stratford started well and came away with a converted try. RGSAO responded with some fine kicking to end up with a line-out close to their opponent’s line and Eliott Bee scored from a well-worked catch and drive. Just before half-time Charlie Jackson sliced through their defense to score with Chris Danks converting. Stratford took the lead with a penalty kick and a converted try to make the score 17 – 12 to Stratford going into the final minutes. Nat McDonald powered his way through a few tackles to score leaving the scores level and the conversion to win the game. Unfortunately the kick drifted wide and the end result was a draw.

1st XV Report v Bristol Grammar School
In difficult handling conditions neither team took a hold of the game. RGSAO scored the first points with a Neil Pinner penalty kick. The lead was extended when the ball was passed out wide from a turn over and James Mitchell ran in from half-way, and Neil Pinner converted. Despite some fine defence Bristol came back in the second half with a penalty and then a try. Luckily for RGSAO the kick went wide and we won 8 – 10. Mr Friend’s well drilled forwards and excellent lineout allowed us to dominate. A good win.

Will Short burst through the Bishop Vesey's backs and eased past the full back to score. Similarly James Mitchell's try showed great pace to evade the Vesey's defence.
