A typical day

8.00: Before school care is available if it is convenient for you to drop off your child early.

8.35: All children should be in school by now. They go to their class rooms where they are registered by their class teacher and prepare for the day.

8.50: The whole school gathers for morning assembly. We provide opportunities throughout the year for different year groups to lead the assembly.

9.05: Lessons start. Each lesson lasts for 35-40 minutes and there are 7 lessons every day.

10.55: Break, when the children can have a drink and a fruit and play outside, weather permitting.

12.35: Lunch, which is family service, followed by break. During this break, the children can play outside or there may well be one of the School’s many clubs which interests them.

2.00: Lessons start again.

3.30: Time to go home. Often, however, children stay to take part in after school clubs, such as gymnastics, running, crafts or Brownies.

3.30-6.00: After school care is available.
