Beyond the Classroom

We extend our care beyond the formal school day for those families who wish to take advantage of our excellent pre- and after school care facilities and wide range of clubs which contribute to the children’s further development and achievement. From games to gardening, sewing to sailing or hockey to horse-riding each child will find something to enjoy.

Our children are able to take advantage of the extensive sports facilities provided by our beautiful 45 acre site. Matches are regularly played in a variety of sports including rugby, netball, cricket and rounders against local schools encouraging good sportsmanship and team spirit.

An extensive range of educational visits both locally and further afield complement and bring to life work in the classroom.

Children can also enjoy our first-class facilities, and parents can be sure they are being professionally cared for, during our fun-filled holiday club which covers almost all the school holidays.

At RGS The Grange the welfare and happiness of all our children are of paramount importance. If they have had a bump or are just feeling a little ‘under the weather’ our children are gently cared for in the medical room by our qualified health administrator.

Our children take a pride in themselves and their school and value the contribution each individual makes. We aim to promote self-discipline and independence whilst developing lively, enquiring minds so that challenges can be met with zeal and determination.
